It's a strange thing how alienated I've become. Don't know was it because my new job or because of my new side job but I haven't submited stuff here for a while. Things tend to change and have to. Recently I bought a new camera, actually my first OWN digital SLR. Since then I've had a good boost to photography and now I feel like I felt some years ago, when I took my first photos with Canon EOS 300D and Nikon D70. Of course I've took photos through this time but they've been 100% job related. No fun, no experiment, only serious job. I haven't had the time to take photos in my spare time. I was planning to buy a digital SLR before my birthday (18th June) but because of finnish labour disagreements between the Paper Worker's Union and the Finnish Forest Industries Federation I have missed many days without payment, because of strikes and lockouts. That sucks. But I think I'm soon able to buy one, wether it will be a 350D (rebel XT) or a 20D. 'till then, I'll just have to borrow gnawer's frankie ;) Back to the subscription, I don't know how to enjou all these features. It takes a week to learn them, and then my time as a subscriber has ended :( Maybe I just have to subscribe after that...

I need a digital SLR. Now. I'm bored to take snapshots with my digital pocket camera. That's right. _snapshots_. With automatic exposure and automatic focus it's suitable only for everyday shooting. But for something artistic - it doesn't satisfy my needs. I've been using my gf's Digital Rebel (300D) but still I need something.. my own (and better). Before that I have to just use my talents and deal with the lack of technical advantages. After all, artwork is not about how you do it, it's the product that makes the thing. It's 3:35 AM and I just took some photos of a teddy bear. That's right. I think some photos will appear soon.. here
